Craig. Lalage has over 20 years experience working with children with learning and behavioural difficulties and pioneered Extra Lesson™ in Australia. She has experience working with a very diverse range of students/children and problems and has built and international reputation in the area of learning and behavioural difficulties. Working with the underlying causes of the student’s difficulties has proven an extremely effective approach. Lalage has built up a network of other professionals that can complement The Extra Lesson™ work with the students/ children when it is necessary. Lalage is the President of the International Extra Lesson Association which aims to maintain professional standards across the world. Lalage is a
co-ordinator for the Institute for Learning Difficulties, which
runs a 3 year part-time accredited graduate diploma course for teachers and
other
professionals to train or re-train in working with children with learning
and behavioural difficulties. Mariane Judd. Mariane is a registered Psychologist in NSW and the ACT and has had over 10 years experience working with children with learning and behavioural difficulties. Mariane wrote her masters thesis on research on the effectiveness of The Extra Lesson™ as an intervention program. She has additional experience in counselling and has worked with a wide age range of children and adolescents. Her experience has reinforced for her that working with the underlying causes is the most effective approach to these difficulties. Mariane is a co-ordinator for the Institute for Learning Difficulties, which runs a 3 year part-time accredited graduate diploma course for teachers and other professionals to train or re-train in working with children with learning and behavioural difficulties.
